When in the gym: (1) Do you wipe down the machines after using it? (2) What do you say to someone who sneezes or coughs and then touches the machine? I'm really so frustrated with a lot of people who spread germs in the gym. The place is already full of germs what will all the sweat coming out of human pores, so when people make the situation worse I get really pissed. I'm not a cleanliness freak, but I obviously don't go to the gym to catch a virus! So I always bring my own towelettes to wipe down a machine before and after using it. That's the only way I know of to reduce the spreading of contagious diseases. But how do I tell the person beside me to please wipe their hands on the towel after sneezing? It might come off a s rude or offensive..pls help I don't know what to do!

I always wipe down machines after I use them. There is also a dedicated staff at my gym that goes around making sure all the equipment is clean. For the most part there is not that musty sweaty smell in the gym unless it is packed and that is not usual. I don't say anything to anyone 'cause I have a habit of kinda spitting my sweat out of my mouth (more like a mist) which yeah is pretty gross I know. I ALWAYS take a shower after I work out, bring 'street clothes' to wear, and make sure that I am clean after I finish working out. I have even started taking mouthwash with me though I have not gone so far as to use it as of yet. Great Queston. Zelo
