i love dried mango! / myLot

hehehe... i am simply craving lately... dried mangoes for is always a treat. my sweet tooth satisfied and at the same time, it's healthy. yum yum.. what about you? what fruit do you like to eat dried?

I don't much care for dried fruit. I prefer raw fruit. My sugar gliders love dried fruit, especially papaya. They also love raw mango. I can never find it dried though. I used the dried fruit as a treat because it usually has a bit of sugar in it. I wish I could find it in dried form because sometimes there are whole months I can't find good mango here in Northeast USA. I wish I knew how to dry it out. I would make it myself when I find the good mangoes.

hi thanks for responding. in my country, buying dried fruit and raw fruits are very accessible, especially, papayas, mangoes, pineapples, coconuts, etc. i also love to drink pure mango juice. it's very nice and refreshing when served cold. hmmmm... why not search online for a dessicator machine or something that's similar. i saw one a few years back on a home shopping channel. you know, i never had raw peach...here, it's always the preserves that are available. could you describe to me, how it tastes raw? i am very curious. thanks!

I love it too, though I don't eat it often. Just yesterday I found that my favorite brand has these smaller packs which are nice for not overeating heheh! I think I shall go get a pack soon.

Dried mango was a snack that I liked to eat when I was a child. I seldom eat this kind of snack today. It tastes well like you say. Here we have some dried snacks, they can made from plums, peaches and so on. I love China

mango by far is the best dried fruit! especially when it has chile y sal. i dry them sometimes but when i want them fast i go to a mexican store close to where i live.

i like to eat fruit, but i don't like to eat dried mango, though it is tast very well,it can compared with the fresh food. good luck and have a nice day!

The only processed dried fruit i eat is mango. The best mangoes (dried and fresh) I've tried are the variety that come from Zambales, Philippines. This is the sweet elena variety - a strain of the Carabao variety certified by the Guinness as the sweetest mango variety in 1995. For mango enthusiasts, i recommend you try the Super Mango Tour in Zambales Philippines. This tour will be officially launched soon.

My favorite is mango , I like dried mangoes as well, Mango is very tasty fruit we dont have any fruits better than mango .

I like dried mangoes too. I truly like mangoes in all different ways. It just has such a great taste to it. I especially like them dried and they have a bit of a spicy seasoning taste to them. I usually buy them at a Oriental food market store. But since I've moved to El Paso,Texas, I haven't been able to find a decent Oriental food market store for me to be able to buy some Oriental food I would love to have.
