why is it ron that everything bad happens to. his wand breaks, he eats slugs, he has to face a giant spider when hes terrified of them. why cant funny inconveniences happen to harry or hermoine. i think the producers are picking on him but oits funny.

Ron is supposed to be the foil for Harry - Harry was born into nothing, Ron was born into a pureblood, magical family. It's a clever way of showing that purebloods aren't more intelligent or gifted than halfbloods. If she'd made Hermione have the bad things happen to her, it would've been more a comment on females being unlucky or clumsy etc and that could never have flown. At the end of the day, Ron's still the lucky one - big family, gets the girl, loyal to the end, etc.

well, if you are a writer, you need to make variations.. not all characters in a story are the same or else the story will suck. You hav to make one who is smart, one who is exactly the opposite, and one must be in between. So it's hermione who is the perfect one, her opposite is ron who always gets bad luck, and harry is someone who gets lucky sometimes, and other times, unlucky like his best friend.

Every movie has to have someone who lightens the mood and make you laugh, and in my opinion Ron is the perfect candidate to do those things,so thats why the writers cause all the bad things to happen to him,so that way the movie is not always serious.

Yeah, I guess JK kinda uses Ron as the comic relief sometimes and to make us hate Snape and Malfoy even more. That's why I cheered so much (silently, in my heart) when he finally got to be the hero in the Quidditch match. I think it was book 6 right? "Weasley is our King." I was more scared for Ron in those quidditch matches than I had ever been for Harry, because Harry always came out on top, but I thought JK was just going to keep making bad things happen to Ron. Finally, he got to be the hero for once. Yea Ron!

It's his character... and there's no one else to blame other than its author, J.K Rowling. The producer has nothing to do with it...

i think why ron always got a bad luck because it is ron character because of his clumsyness and shy.

Well, perhaps you haven't read the stories. If you had, then you'd have known that in the last one, Harry's wand also breaks. And you're talking of facing a giant spider? Which movie are you talking about: The Chamber of Secrets or The Prisoner of Azkaban? Because in the former, Harry also faces the spider alongwith him and in the next, it wasn't a giant spider at all. It was just a boggart taking the shape of his greatest fear, which is a spider. And those inconveniences weren't exactly meant to be funny, as portrayed by Rowling originally. And Harry has definitely fallen in some such funny inconveniences too in the stories, though they haven't been depicted in the films. I'd suggest you to please read the stories before jumping to hasty conclusions.

Somebody has to be the comic relief, and it's Ron in the case of Harry Potter :)
