Does anyone use Twitter?

I find it quite useful if you have a following of people. Also quite useful to keep your readers updated if you have a blog or website for instance, but even if you don't then you could just write small notes on your day, find me on http://www.twitter.com/waynetully

I know there are lots and lots! Which means more choice and more places to be found, whatever you write about online.

Alot of sites are trying to incorporate rss feeds to syndicate what we already update anyway, I know that squidoo updates new updates to twitter when you update a squidoo lens, maybe mylot should follow and other sites!!

That is very true. More sites mean more access to people willing to join other sites. Brilliant. I need to get out there and network, but it is finding the time.

It certainly is a great way to micro blog that's for sure, I always like to write and small snippets of blog lead-ins work quite well!!

I have just started to Twitter : http://twitter.com/jason1308 I had heard its a good way of promoting blogs etc, so not sure at the moment how successful it will be, but I will give it a go, and we will soon see if I get any decent results from it. I might even find myself getting thoroughly addicted to it before long, just like MyLot.

Going thru the discussions about twitter which I just signed onto yesterday. I did it mostly to get updates about concert/music info and misc updates from people I know. I follow anybody that looks interesting and has something to say, but I'm not sure I'll subscribe or keep subscribing to people who are just posting info about jobs or making money.

Good idea! I should try twitting for a change then. I maintained a lot of blogs and I guess I could put snipets of my updates on twitter then. :-D

Yes it really is a good idea to keep your followers updated and you yourself if you find that you are not following what you left behind and followed another day only to follow what you followed when you followed it!!
