how do i put photos from my lg u880 phone on to my lap top?

hi i cant seem to put the photos from my lg phone to my lap top i`ve got a disc that i installed and put the cable in it says its all installed but I'm not sure what to do from there. does anyone know? thanks

I've never used cables, I've always transferred stuff between phone and PC via Bluetooth.
