Do you find it hard to say I love you?

I like saying I love you when I really love the person. I say I love you to my kid all the time, to my partner and even to my friends. Some people hold back or hesitate or are just too scared they won't get the same response. I understand it can be nerve-wracking if that is the case, but I think I'd still say it if I really do.
