Male contraception...

What do you think? Have you tried it? If you are a female would you trust a man to use it properly? If you are a male do you think it a good idea?

Yes it is a good idea and it is the responsibility of both partners to take care in accepting any contraceptive methods.

I think also healthwise it has far less chemicals in than the female pill and so less side effects

I think it's always important to take responsibility for yourself and never ever leave it to the other person to provide protection. There's too much danger of STDs and pregnancy. It's not worth the risk.

I know what you mean - I think in general there are many women who like to be in control of the contraception. Although that said I have also known two male friends who are duped into fathering children by wowen who claimed to be on the Pill but werent.
