I was wondering, Is Slice the pie; the site that pays you to listen to music and then review it to earn cash, is it real? Has any one out there been paid by this company via check, Paypal, Etc? Please let me know, im still wondering if this is a scam or not.... Thanks.

I'm a member, really cool site and you do get paid from all accounts. I haven't reached payout yet but I'm at $1 and that was EASY. plus, you earn more the more you review. One trick I read is to open up word while listening to the first 60 seconds of the song and then copy n paste to get through more songs quickly. You have to wait 60 seconds before you can type and submit your review, that's why they suggested that. Try it out, really cool site!!

What do you mean by open up word?

He means to open up microsoft word, or actually note pad or any other typing program while you listen to the song and once it reaches 60 seconds then you just copy and paste what you wrote on those word processers. I hope you get what I mean.

you just open a text pad or a word document and write fast a good deep meaningful review , and a trick is to be done that when you submit you will see the track's name and the name of the artist , so add them o your review , it will hlp ,,trust me

I just joined the other day and I really enjoy making reviews. I have around 2000 songs in my ipod. I listen to them everyday but get nothing from it. With this, they pay me to enjoy their music. Isn't this a great idea?

I'm still on the site and it does pay well as long as you're active and write good reviews. I haven't been there recently, but I'm going to get back into the action in the next few days though and get back into earning.

Wow, I am interested, though it sounds like you need to work a bit before your earnings go up though. Is anyone still on the site? Does it pay well?

STP is not a scam. They are legitimate. Last month they paid me more than $200. Actually they paid in GBPound, and only through PayPal. After a month, I got 4 stars and they paid me 18 cents for 1 track reviewed. So if I can review 100 tracks/day, it means $18/day.

Of course they send money to US too. The no.1 global scout is currently from US. He's the only 5 stars. I got my new payment today for 3 days scouting, it's only $25, because I'm not active like before. Just try it.

100% real my friend. Here in the UK I've made £20 ($40) after not too long. Dont think you will be bringing bucketloads in - you may only earn 10c a minute, but it's the only real site I've found where you get paid for WORKING not just entering lucky draws or visiting a link everytime they mail you one this is one where you can make a steady amount of cash - I know if i spend 30mins on that site I will make $20. Does require quite a bit of work though

30 mins and $20??? Do you mean a day, a week or a month? If it's $20 for only 30 mins scouting, Wow! I'm 4 star, but I reviewed 20 tracks for an hour, and it means $3.60 only..I must review 112 tracks to make $20.

I thought that it was a scam the first few times that I wrote in comments. But I have realized that to make more you have to be writing really detailed comments. They are not looking for just an "I like it" or an "I hate it" You have to write a lot. I joined about half and hour ago and have already made over $0.40 from 4 reviews. Really its just the more you write the more you get paid, my firs review was paid 10 cents even though my "base rate" is only at $0.02. My suggestion is to listen to their hints and write about everything you can think of about the song, the lyrics, melody, rhythm, instruments, harmony anything and everything.

I just joined STP. I really enjoy listening to music. But I wish they would let you select genres to scout from. Also I'm not really musically inclined So many of my comments are reduced to whether I like it or not. It's fun too Hope it pays.

slicethepie is a scam site for musicians!!! I could go on an on...i was a member for 3 years. they continued to make changes that would benifit thier sponsors at the cost of the musicians. I finally could'nt take the scamming anymore and quit. slicethepie is a bad bad bad scammer for musicians. Don't believe them when they say they are here to support independent musicians. It's all a lie...don't deal with these bastards.

I realize this is an old discussion but I joust joined SliceThePie and I'm assuming if it's been up for at least that 8 months that it's legit. It seems so to me. It is much more professional seeming to me too. I just joined yesterday so I can't comment on them paying but I will see when I get paid, if I do. Either way it's something fun to do and get paid.

They pay. If you are a good scout and increase you rating to five stars, you can earn around 15c for each track you review.

It certainly seems to be real, a lot of users on the forums and they are generally happy, which they wouldn't be if they were being scammed and hadn't got any money out of it.
