Best Responses

I had a few questions about best responses. Do they serve any purpose besides being there to show who contributed the most in that discussion? I've heard from some that a "best response" will earn you more money. Is this true? Do they boost your ranking , or do they just serve the very minimal purpose of letting others know that you had the "best response", and that's it.

yes best responses helps to earn more and increase your ranking also.. and also shows that you the the good thinker, and writer it improve your confidence regarding the discussion, it appreciate your work also..

Best response just has a purpose , it serves the purpose of picking a response which fully satisfy and which fully answers your query. It has to be something which has all the answers in it and should be written well and meaningfully. It has nothing to do with earnings. It doesnot increase earnings ,it just helps in increasing reputation which has nothing to do with earnings. It will improve your star status.

I really do not know if it has any effect to our earning power. some said that it does have an effect some says there is none. But one thing I like about it is the feeling of excitement and fulfillment in life that move me to respond some more and do your thing in here. I got a couple today and it is really exhilarating to know that somebody has chosen your response as the best among the many.
