Would You Let Lazy Family Members Live With You?

Why is it that some tend to take advantage of good people, especially lazy people. On a few accassions I let my uncle stay with us until he find a job and get his own place or whatever. Can you believe that two weeks after he moved in, he found a good construction job and quit the darn job in the same week. What a pity shame. I just asked him why he quit the job, and guess what he told me? It's too hot out there, I don't want to
get a tan. I told him "your brain is already burnt toast, you need to start using it, now your butt is gonna be toast once it hits that hot concrete." Ha, I told him something.

oh I know how you feel. My dad is like your uncle but luckily enough he doesn't live with us. I know if he would come with us, he'd stay in the house eating and meet his friends...nothing else. Sometimes i do ask him how was work and he said that he only worked for a couple of hours because it was to hot. But when he does that too much, he has to work extra to gather up the monney in order to pay bills off. I think you should tell your uncle to wake up lol

Now he's living with a woman he met that same week he started and quit that job, and he met her on the bus on the way to work.

i don't like lazy and unproductive people around my house. it can get irritating when you come home really tired only to be greeted by so much clutter and the people that's supposed to help out are just watching tv or worst, sleeping.

well i wouldn't let no one lazy stay with me, it would just tick me off. and too hot for him. humn it comes with that kind of job. hello.

Some people would rather have things handed to them on a silver pladder than you actually get off there butt and do something. And if the lazy ones know they can get over on you they will try it thats for sure.

I have a brother and a sister who used to treat me badly when i was still unemployed. even if i gave them some money that would provide a bit of their convenience, they still scold me. So, in time i became lazy and prevented them from getting any of my left over money. but they didn't kick me out because it was a family house and i get to stay.lolz

Look, my younger brother is just that person! This dude eased his way in my house back in October of 2007! I'm not sure what happened between him and his girl, but she need to come and get homeboy! This cat worked maybe 3 days at FedEx cause it was too rough, I guess!! He does nothing, not a dish, no garbage, he doesn't even take the garbage out of the can when it's full, just stacks more garbage on top of it! I have not seen one red cent for anything, and it's so much stuff that irritates me I can't even list it here! He shoveled once, help me in the yard once, but that's it-guess he felt bad, once! Anyway, I'm trying to be cool about the whole thing, cause he has no where to go, but homie needs to get it together before I'm totally and utterly fed up!

Does your uncle always get jobs and quit? You can only help people who want to help themselves. I would tell him he needs a job and needs to keep it if he is going to stay with you to get on his feet. Good Luck!

I do not want to be with someone who is lazy because I can't survive to work hard just to clean up someone's mess. I guess you are right because you are already affected. I hate lazy people who have no valid reasons why they are lazy. I want industrious people because they know how to value the things around them.
