it i svery positive thought rather. in that case the person express so because he really can't live without me. it means i have become indispensable part of his life. it is positive thing.

immature love says..."i love u because i need u....but mature love says...." i need u because i love u.....:-) and i really feel this is the truth.....i always said to my love that i need her because i love her.... i dont love her because i need her...its kinda selfish thing....

it shouldn't be like a need..i don't think i would take it too positively if she means it in the way you are saying!

I'm glad to say that I learned after some major mistakes that the best relationships have nothing to do with need. People who are together because they want to be together make it work best. Needs become dysfunctional quickly, and one or another of the couple has a problem with using or being used. Women, especially, need to be independent enough to make it on their own, with no needs, including not needing to be needed, to be partners in strong relationships. What a shame self-respect can't be purchased!
