Mine's been on the fingers of four generations, D., so I love it for that. It's also great to have a colorless stone so nothing ever clashes!

No, Jugs, I don't think so. I KNOW so!

cobrateacher responded to a discussion called ever read your old discussions you've started? in mylot.com.

Yes. I read them and see how changes in the world hav affected me -- it's sort of fun!

Most of the time, someone has to open up a bit before I feel welcome to take any relationship farther, Pat. I sort of think that people who don't share anything about themselves don't want me to know anything. That's part of my New England background, although I don't even remember what it was like there...

cobrateacher responded to a discussion called So IS Sarah Palin "Qualified to be President of the United States"? in politics.

Hi, Annie! The more I see and hear of Sarah Palin, the more I'm amazed her empty head and coquettish personality ever got her anywhere. I doubt that she could handle an important job such as POYUS, She certainly messed up in Alaska, then turned her back on those who did vote for her and quit her unfinished job! How could anyone trust her?

Hi, Annie! It never ceases to amaze me that there are people who still oppose health care reform. They seem to think tax dollars are more important than human lives. How can they even stand to look in the mirror?

cobrateacher responded to a discussion called "A Prayer For Obama" - Humorous or Sinister??? in politics.

Hi, Annie! I've been in a heated discussion of this on another site, and there are a couple of things about it that are both shocking and disheartening. First, several people seriously didn't get it when I said this is nothing but hate speech. Others said that calling anything in the Bible hate speech proves that I am a devil-worshipper who should be eliminated from this Earth immediately for ...

I must disagree. I've listened to, read and read about many, many people who oppose health care reform. I guess they must be able to handle their medical costs. I can't, even though my insurance coverage is some of the best available. Co-payments, exclusions and overcharges have forced me to forego groceries at least one week out of every month, and I'm in my 42nd year as a public school teache...

OK. I'll make it personal again. First time was when I had to call 911 because a recent surgery opened up and hemorrhaged several hours after the stitches were removed and I was sent home. When a doctor finally saw me 11 hours later, the thing had been open for too long to close it properly, so it required two more surgeries. And at that time, our insurance covered 100%. I just happened to come...

I am 100% self-sufficient, but I have been driven into dire poverty by the costs associated with health care, while I am employed full-time. I'm glad you can afford to pay more than I own, but my health care provider has charged $20,000 in co-payments, deductibles and exclusions While their profits rose 92% this year. Just about anyone could handle the health care needs of our nation more human...

Why do they do it?

There are some commercials that are really annoying, and I can't figure out their purpose. For example, why are the mechanics and technicians at GE singing love songs while they build jet engines?...

I stopped by my friend Diane's job to say hello and she wasn't there. I found out she was suffering terribly, from the side-effects of the swine flu shots. She didn't get one, but her parents took...

Hi! how are you? I have a question, or rather, I would like your opinion: I haven't heard from my BF in like a week and a half which I was writing off as, he's in mechanic school for the army and cannot write me or call me right now

BUT, i got a TXT from his cell phone from someone claiming to be his SERGEANT, saying that he was in AFGHANISTAN and that shattered his ankle, and tore some ligaments and tendons in his leg and is in the hospital and that they're going to fix him up and send him back to AFGHANISTAN. He never even told me he was going there.

I was under the impression that he was still in training here in the US for the army... That's a bit shady don't you think?

Now, the person who wrote had great spelling and perfect gramer so I know it wasn't my BF....
