did not receive enough work (only made as much money as the ad cost for the year), so I didn't put it in the next year. That was almost 4 years ago. A few weeks ago someone called and wanted tutoring. He's a wonderful student, hard-working, dedicated, etc.
So I was just wondering (respond to as many of these as apply to you):
How long do you keep your phone books?
What do you do with them if it's for more than one year?
Have you ever advertised in the yellow pages?
How much does it cost where you live (my introductory rate years ago was $500)?
Do you get more than one phone book ( we get an area one and one for just local/same phone company numbers)?
If you advertised in the phone book, did you get any calls from the ad(s)?
Was the ad worth the money you paid for it?
