PC's crash because Microsoft is the worlds greatest marketing company, unfortunatly there products have never been as good as there marketing, Apple is the only way to go. I've had one for 5 years, never chrashed or shut down one time, no vireses, no problems. I can't even keep my Xbox running, i replaced it with a PSP and enjoy the heck out of it.

Most of the time a PC system crashes due to virus and tojans. But having a defective computer part can cause your PC to behave abnormally. A defective memory(RAM) or video card can cause your PC to hang. An improperly installed software and device driver may cause PC to stop also.:)

A lot of users blame it at once on viruses, though some virus can really do that, most computers these days has Anti-virus anyway. The most common cause is poor system maintenance and computing malpractices. Power lines can also cause this due to surges or power spikes. There are sign that they are about to crash, like performance degradation, prolong bootup and shutdown procedure, frequent system message prompt or hardware nearing its life span.

I have found out crashes occur from bad Registry's. mine use to lock up, freeze, or shut down by it self. Then I read on it and ordered a product called Registry Mechanic. I found you really have to becareful and make back ups as you go. or you could really mess things up big time. I messed up twice and totaly redid every thing. But, worth while in the long run. no more crashes or freezing. last 6 months

computer crashes cannot be blamed to viruses alone. there are several factors. one is from the downloads we do, sites we visit, which may have spywares/adwares and because of too much files that we place on the hard disk.

There is many reasons why computer crashes and after a restart to clear the memory, IT IS back to normal.. Sometimes its coursed by over-loading and windows not able to deal with all the demands so it complains and goes on strike lool We do blame Microsoft for much of our computer problems lool but when was last time you defragmented your computer ? i know for me was while ago cos takes too long, mine needs it now really.. Defrag does improve the whole performance of the compuer and actually can improve the life span of your hard drive too.. Also one of biggest reasons for computer problems is spyware more so then virus.. So when was last you used an anti-spyware software hehe I rarely ever pick up a virus because i am careful when downloading anything, i not accept zip files unless i trust the person, but i do get spyware and dont know where it all comes from.. lol Those some reasons for pc crashes and you need to know what your computer can handle when multi tasking depending on your processor and memory :) Just need keep computer clean.. cache, registry, do defrag once a week, use good anti-spyware and regularly scan with anti-virus.. I had couple of problems few days ago, computer slow down until everything stop responding.. Run spy hunter and uninstalled couple of stupid shareware programs and now its sweet :D
