Are You Happy with What You Have Acheived so Far?

How would you assess your status at this point in time? Can you say you have attained most of your goals such as marry and have kids, be very very rich, have a sports car and a huge house, have a good career? What have you accomplished, is it below or above your expectations?

Hi Muelitz-yes I am happy with my life there are so many things that I have done i have had quite a colourful life-even though now I am living on benefits in social housing and am unable to work do to ill health at least I can still walk act normally breathe in the fresh clean air-etc and wake to a wonderful new day-blessd be littleowl

I'm 35 and I am very satisfied and happy with the goals I have met so far in my life. Things haven't always worked out the way I wanted them to, but sometimes they've worked out much better than I imagined. I think whether you meet your goals or not isn't what makes you feel satisfied; it's how you approach life in general. Your attitude is what matters.

So far, I'm happy with what I've achieved so far. I mean I'm not aiming for the stars (just yet) but I'm working on each goal that I make. So far it has turned out well. I just take everything one step at a time...

well i think i'm pretty satisfied with what i have now. i've got a stable job, roof over my head and my parents are still around. my life goal is to be happy so i'm still working on it. material things doesn't really matter to me. a car is something to take me from point A to point B, so as long as it moves and doesn't leave me stranded i am happy. a roof over my head is good enough. even if my home has 20 bedrooms, i can only sleep in one. cheers ;p

I like where I am in life right now. I am married to a wonderful guy. I have an absolutely terrific hubby. A beautiful daughter, another child on the way. I have my health. Some of my personal goals have been met. So yes I am happy.

yeah i wuld say i am...i never thought i could have the things that i have now and i even thought of living a life that i have now..i am not rich but truly way better to what people think of me years back,,,even myself i never thought of redeeming myself from a slump...thnks and glory be to God

If I was to ask myself this question 5 years back, I would have said yes about having achieved my goals. Then I had a few setbacks followed by some rash and thoughtless actions of mine, i seem to put myself back a number of years. Now it seems there is long way to go, so I keep my goals over shortened periods of time and assess this status more frequently. It's like saying living one day at a time.

nope I am not happy with anything at all, for all the talent and the training I have, I am sitting here on disability with hardly any money to live on.
