Online or Offline Shopping ~ Which do you prefer?

Do you prefer shopping online or offline? As of lately I'm starting to enjoy online shopping better. Oftentimes, the same stores that you shop at offline have better online deals. And many times you can avoid paying tax and it can be shipped to your store of choice or right to your doorstep with the quickness! I still do most of my shopping offline but this may surely change.

I do most of my shopping online. Not only can I do it at any time of the day or night; I can comparison-shop easily, and probably more objectively than any other way. I find cost reductions I probably wouldn't find otherwise, and I don't waste gas doing it! There are no crowds to fight, and it's easy to avoid impulse purchases. I have a great parking space (my garage) all the time, too.

I use MaxMalls.com for the bulk of my online shopping - how about you?

Thanks for the suggestion. I sometimes shop at psarticular stores or just use a search engine to find a particular item. This sounds better!

I think there are benefits to both. When I'm buying clothing, if at all possible, I prefer trying it on because it saves the hassle of returning it later if I find it doesn't fit or I don't like the way it looks. However, I do buy a lot of other products online. I do most of my book purchasing online. Even if I originally see the book in a store, I can usually find a better deal online. The selection seems to be better at online stores as well. I've also bought a number of electronic devices online and have, for the most part, been satisfied. Perhaps one of my favorite benefits of online shopping is customer reviews. If a lot of people tried a product and didn't like it, it's usually a good clue that the product isn't worth buying.

I have shopped online a few times, I do enjoy the convience of it. Especially with gas prices going up it is much cheapr now to pay for shipping then to drive somewhere and get it. Also I am able to find items online for a lot cheaper than I would in store. The only thing I hate is having to wait several weeks or more to get what I ordered.

Yeah online is definitely a gas saver! And although it takes longer for some items to arrive, oftentimes it's worth it because of the deal or the maybe it is a rare item that is hard to find offline. As far as the wait, if you have a local store in your town that has an online presence then oftentimes you won't have to wait as long.

As for me, I prefer offline shopping, it's not about the product or service, actually, in online shopping you can get a better product in a cheaper prices. But in terms of shipping and handling cost, that's where I got a problem in it and because of that, between the two I would prefer offline. Because, when you compare the cost of the product that I buy in online to offline, I would spend much more money in online than in offline because of shipping cost and not to mention it took up to 21 days to a month for me to get the product that I bought.

Most of my online shopping has included free shipping but I do understand your experience.

oh, i'd prefer offline shopping. you buy the product, and get it right than and there. with online shopping, you have to wait a few days to get it. I'd rather just buy the product at the store,(If they had it) and take it home with me that same day. i've ordered stuff from the internet before, but, just thought that it wasn't necessarily.
