Yesterday, I went on a date with my hubby. Nothing spectacular. We went to a movie. It was nice to snuggle up in a theatre and enjoy a movie. It had been a while since I saw a movie with just him. Then he took me shopping for some maternity clothing. The nice part was spending time just on each other.

I think married couples need to make time for just each other. Not kids, not friends, etc.. just time out "just because." I do not think you really need to spend a lot of money on each other and I certainly would not recommend making eating out a part of your 'date night' as at this point in my life most "food" I can get a restaurants is over priced and overly saturated with fat and calories.

Nope me and my hubby have been together 18 ears which we have been married 17 of those years and we do not go on dates together. We don't even own a vechicle so we don't go anywhere together. Itis noce that you and your hubby have this closeness I am so Jealous! I guess being parents brings couples closer together. Me and my hubby have no children due to problems on both sides.

Maternity clothing!! Yeah and Congrats!!! Spend as much time with him as you can right now because once that baby comes you will be together but not together. My daughter is 19 months old and her new thing is if my husband and I are sitting together she comes over and sits between us and holds her daddy and says MINE!!! Funny part is she won't say mine to me at him! Its pretty cute but its hard too. Anyway to the question. Yes every once in a while we go on a "date". Not very often as our schedules only allow for us to see each other once a week, and rarely an evening. So our only day together is spent as a family. Good luck and keep dating your husband!!!

My husband and I do go out with each other constantly.. We also go just about everywhere together and have for 43 years.. We aren't tired of each others company yet.. We go out to eat quite a bit and look for nice restaurants to have dinner at.. Glad you got a break, enjoy and have a nice evening..

These are the little things that couple stop doing together and lost that intimacy and friendliness that they used to enjoy. It is good that you are still doing it. I wish that my boyfriend was like your husband. For the past five years he has not taken more anyway and whenever I ask him about it he said that no money isn't there. What a lot of men does not understand is that the little things does make one happy. I was working for the past four years and doing things that I enjoy for myself. But since closing the shop and stress starts to take over and whenever I say to him let us even walk up the beach it is murmuring. I wish I was leaping sometimes. Continue to enjoy yourself and I know that when the baby comes you will all be happy. Take care.

I wish we had time. We have 3 boys that require a lot of our attention. We went on our first date in over 3 years in May. It was really nice. We went to a concert out of town. We needed it badly and I would like to go on more. We do spend a little time each night together where it is just me and her and no kids. I guess kind of a mini date.
