I met the love of my life online a little over a year ago. We live together now, and one day will get married. We met through an online dating (hook-up) site. My sister also met and married, (they are expecting their first child), via a chat room. Anyone else had good experiences with online amore.

Oh yeah, chat rooms have been around for a long time. My sister and I used to do AOL chats 10 to 11 years ago. I think that is awesome. Glad you are happy. Thanks for replying.

Yes, I did. We met on Match.com and our first date was Feb. 17, 2005. We moved in together Jan 2006 and are living happily-ever-after!

Not online but met him in the pub when I swore of men! He did say 2 me that night he'd marry me one day!!...I wanted to do a runner!! But now i,m enagaged to that man. Been together almost 2 n a half years now!! xx

I ran into a lot of game players too. My friend and I liked to call them "hit and runs". She came up with the term. Keep trying, I was just about ready to give up, when I met my fiance. There is someone for everyone out there. God Bless.

Congrats.Long distance is hard. My sister was in Oregon, her hubby in IL. So, I know the logistics can be worked out. Patience is the key. My son, here in OR, is in an online relationship with a gal in OH. She is coming out to meet him over Thankgiving. Keep me posted on how yours goes. Luckily my guy was local.

Yes I did meet my soulate online, the man of my dreams, everything I never knew I needed and wanted. Unfortunately we can't spend much time together as we live in different countries but we talk every day and meet as often as we can. We first started chatting online over three years ago and our friendship developed into something very special. We never planned to meet at first but after a year of talking online or on the phone every day, we finally met. I have also met some of my best friends online and reunited with old college friends I had lost touch with.

I met my sould mate at a wedding. It's funny, the woman whose wedding I met my husband at is a really nasty person. No one knows I feel this way, but only because she has done certain things. My hubby and I almost broke up because of her. She started a nasty rumor that I crashed her wedding, then further attempted to start stories about me. I once bought wedding pics from her, and never got them. She's just horrible. Now my hubby, he's okay, we've been together for almost 16 yrs.
