Pandora radio

Have you ever listened to Pandora.com? It's a heuristic model that lets you rate the music, and plays things it thinks you will like from your ratings. I have been listening to it for over a year, and I have found a lot of new artists from the site. I really love it. Do you listen to Pandora?

I tried to start a discussion on this a while ago. It seems it only works in the US. I love it! I have mine programmed to mix up some of my favorite stuff. Some Ben Taylor, Shania Twain, Train, and Josh Kelley.
I like that it lets me rate the music as I like or don't like. It keeps track of my preferences and will take them into account before playing me a new song. It will also tell you why it chose to play a particular song for you.

My husband loves the why feature. I just like to listen, but he likes to track why they pick a song, he thinks some of the descriptions are sort of funny.
Either way, it's a great way to listen to commercial free radio, for free, that really has great variety.
I was unaware it only worked in the US.

I like Pandora, but don't listen to it much nowadays. It tends to drift away gradually from things I like, and you find yourself shouting 'No, more Beatles!' or whatever ;)
If I bother, I tend to use Lastfm.com more now, because at least it has an unlimited amount of skips, but otherwise does more or less the same as Pandora.

That would be cool, unlimited skips. I also wish you could put in the things you DON'T want it to play at all, as much as you can put in what you want. Granted, you can thumbs down a song, but not an entire group.

I love Pandora. My friend told me about it about a month ago. It was a great find. I have about 3 or 4 stations that I listen to. It is a great background music when I am doing anything online or maybe around the house. I have also found some good songs that I downloaded because of the site. It really is great.

I like Pandora. I listen to that. I havent tried putting it on this laptop but it is on my desktop computer. i think I will put it on the laptop though because you can often listen to your favorite songs. Pandora is my favorite online radio station.

I love Pandora!!! I listen to it all the time! I've found out about a lot of bands through Pandora. I like it cause it's all music that I get to choose and it doesnt get old. Yay for Pandora.
