Do you bite your finger nails?

I have this bad habit since I was small I supposed. When I am nervous, I will bite my nails. Or even when I am daydreaming, I will also bite my nails. End up I have crooked nails. So bad. I tried many times not to do that again but failed. Because unintentionally I will bite my nails again. Sigh,how am I going to get rid with this bad habit? Now I am going to cut my nails short just to avoid from bitting them again,lol. What do you think about this? Do you have same habit as me? How do you overcome this terrible habit? Do share with me.

I never bite my nails and i think it is a bad habit.Once you develop this habit it is very difficult to get rid of it.Always cut the nails when it grows is the only solution to get rid of it.

I was really a nail biter, I would continually bite my nails, so they were always short and ugly. I cant remember when I kicked the habit, but for some years now they have been growing nicely. If I may add, they say that comes with nervousness.

yes i had the habit bad sometimes it was painful .it was nerves on my part back then when i was young .i don't bite them anymore .i stopped biting my nails because i got away from the cause of my stress,take note next time you bite your nails what happened that made you want to bite them,there has to be something that triggers you biting your nails.

trim your nail so short that your teeth can't reach it. This may some how decrease your habit. I don't bite my finger nails. But i do sometime when they are long and when my nail trimmer is not close with me.

Hello,yenwie! We consider biting nails inauspicious.besides inside the nails lots of dirt you will find which may go into the belly if you bite the nails and sometimes the pieces of nails even go into the belly and cause problem in the digestive system.so stop this habit right now and save your health.thanx.
