Why Do You THINK MY LOT IS called "MY LOT"

Okay, let's get crazy. Is it because this is where we park our povs? Is it because my lot is something like my space,except that it's a "lot" instead of "space"? Is it because we are parked here like.. for hours and they pay the parking fee for us? Or is it because it's called "my lot" for no reason at all?

I reckon it means my people. Lot is another sort of friendly term for a group of people who are close or related in some way.

I can't believe you never got any responses on this! What a killer question! :)
I always thought of MyLot as a copy-cat of "Myspace". "Lot" is sort-of a synonym of "space", and so it makes sense. But I suppose now that I think about it, I do spend at least half an hour a day "parked" in front of the screen here on MyLot, starting and responding to discussions.
