First off, be glad that you have a job. Do your best, show your employer how talented you are and how dedicated you are and maybe you can move up to a better job. If not consider going back to school or start looking for another job. Trust me, you will often be bored in your job. I am but I am glad I have a job too.

If you don't find your current position challanging see if there's something else you can do for your present employer and, if not, you might want to hang in there for a couple of more months and then look for another job. You don't want to leave this one yet because you haven't been there for very long and some employers are suspicious of people who change jobs too quickly.

Congratulations on your accomplishments! You could keep an eye out for a job that might come along which would suit you better, but in the meantime, you have a job from which you could learn very much. It can be a stepping stone to something bigger and better. You don't have to love the ones you are working with. It helps, but from experience, I can tell you, no matter where you go, you will probably find someone whom you work with who will bug you for some reason . . . they don't do anything but they don't get in trouble for it . . . they start gossip . . . they cause trouble . . . they are rude . . . they don't know how to do their job properly . . . they don't care if they do their job properly . . . On the other hand, you will also find friends through the jobs you have in your life and you will work with excellent people who do their jobs very well and take great pride in their work. That's the worker you should strive to be whether you are bored, not liking your co-workers, whatever. Your good work will not go unnoticed. Hang in there. Things will improve one way or the other. I agree with the other responses that you should work there a while because you need to build up your good reputation. Never quit a job until you find one to go to.

Hello toteles, I just responded to your discussion where you felt excited after receiving your first salary. I hope by now, you won't feel bored with your job anymore *smiles* Studying and working are two different situation and when you get to experience both, you will know which is better. When I was still studying, I always wished that I could join work force as soon as possible. I wish to have my own money and spend it whenever I want. But after working, I feel that studying is better. You just need to study and no need to worry about anything else -except your exam!

Oh, congratulations for that! That's a very great achievement but even though I'm still a high school student (as of now...), I think when I'm in your shoes, I will also miss my student life because being a student is very fun. It's like living in a small world where your friends and classmates are your only acquaintances... -sigh- I think I will miss this life very much when I graduate from college...
