Building blocks really help with hand eye coordination

My 17 month old daughter is sitting here playing with some Mega Blocks which are like huge Legos. She has always been pretty advanced in her fine and large motor skills. It is amazing watching her stack up these blocks. She is getting a pretty high tower. Do you have building blocks for your little ones? Do they like them? Do you find that it really helps with hand eye coordination?
