They just released a new iPhone today, and just like the last time they released them the lines are stretched around the block. I have had the same phone for almost two years and she is still going strong. I don't see why this iPhone is so popular. What is the big deal? Can someone please tell me?

I have not got a clue what the big deal with this phone is. I too have had the same phone for 2 - 3 years and it is does not do much but it texts and that is enough for me!

They're interesting looking phones that'll do almost everything you want in a portable communications/entertainment device, but unless you need all the bells and whistles, and are prepared to be tied to one call provider, with no user access to a replacement battery, extra Memory,a not very high spec camera,(with no video?) there are less expensive options available that will give you a choice for provider, upgradeability, and content..If You have the money and the choice,it's yours!

It's all because of the brand - iPhone in itself is nothing special, take HTC dimand for instance, a lot cheper, looks just a nice and has more features - however HTC is not that "hip" of a brand to iPonhe get all the attention.
