Are you more likely to buy a food if it is is labeled "natural"?

I see a lot of the labels on food, some that say obvious things (like water with zero calories... imagine) but I have always wondered if the "natural" worked. I have always been slightly afraid that they had to label it that. But if given the choice between two types of a product that had the same cost and amount, would you be more likely to buy one if it had a special label on it to promote it being natural, or no trans fat, or other such things?

I admittedly go for the natural because that means no processed sugar and that fits into my super strict Nazi sports diet. Plus I hate over processed things. Velveeta almost induces vomit. ugh!

The word "natural" has become a money maker for food companies, and it is one devoid of any real meaning. I prefer to buy what I can from local producers. I like to know where my food comes from. An excellent book on the subject of food and food activism is "The Revolution Will Not Be Microwaved" by Sandor Ellix Katz.
