How long does it take before you earn anything?

Obviously I don't expect to have earned anything yet, as I'm new here, and you all can see that I've only posted 8 or so messages at this point. I've learned that you earn as you post and as people reply to your posts and discussions started. Do you see your earnings show up as soon as you earn them, or do you sign on the next day and realize you earned 12 cents the day before? Any advice appreciated :)

A "myLot day" runs from midnight to 11:59pm US Central time no matter where you live. Earnings for that day are updated approximately 8-10 hours later. So whatever you post on a myLot Sunday, you will see earnings for on myLot's Monday morning. Before the recent layout change, we could actually see when earnings were last updated...now you have to either remember your totals or go to the earnings page to check your daily earnings. Also, just so you don't get upset if you notice this happening, earnings aren't "set" until you actually get paid. They can fluctuate throughout the month by a few cents at a time....a few cents lost if things get deleted, a few cents added when extra money from innactive members gets redistributed.

It really depends. It normally takes a day or so for them to post the earnings. On occasion it takes longer, but normally it's within a thirty hour period. Welcome to the site and I hope you are having fun so far.

I have only posted 6 days (including today) and I have earned 1.83. I am really new myself and haven't posted to much. You wont see your earning for up to 24 hours. Even though it isnt much, it is exciting to see how much you earned, how many post you have made, and your ranking. Good luck and hope to see you more in the discussions.
