Everyone has there own believes/opinions on that. I personally believe that later in life it will be benefitall from getting infections, it doesn't reduce the risk of std's. When i had my first child i watched them do his circumcision and it wasn't that bad. In fact some religions are against it. I also heard on the new that circumcising a child can tramatize the child which i think is not true because when they have it done they are just a few days old.

There are some good health benefits to circumcision, here is a link worth checking out: http://www.circinfo.com/parents_guide/gfp.html

In Australia, circumcision is very rarely carried out these days outside various ethnic groups. In fact, it's hard to find a doctor willing to do it. These things go in and out of fashion, but I can't understand the point of removing a part of someone's body for no good reason. We don't remove tonsils at birth in case they get infected later!
