The one thing I almost always order is beef and broccoli when I go to my favorite Chinese restaurant. My favorite soup is the Wonton soup as well. What's your favorites? What are your least favorites? Got any stories about Chinese food or being at a Chinese restaurant?

Ooh, Lo Mein is great, especially when I'm in the mood for something that slides down nice and easy. Thanks for sharing!

I love Chinese food! I never miss ordering fried rice when we eat in chinese resturants. I don't know what it's called there but siomai and siopao are also one of my favorites. We have lots of chinese resturants here, though they mostly specialize in hong kong style cooking rather than the traditional spicy cooking.

Ooh, I like fried rice too, but I usually get that when I'm ordering Thai. I haven't heard of siomai or siopao- what's in them? I think we get more of the Hong Kong variety as well, because most of the food that my family orders isn't spicy at all.

Chinese is by far my favorite food! When in my hometown, I usually order lo mein, soo gui, beef and broccoli, ma-la shrimp or ginger beef. Unfortunately, the best dishes I had were in the states (I'm in canada, where our chinese is completely different). Those were crab ragoons, peking ravioli and szechwan chicken from a little hunan place I found. Delicious!

I cannot remember ever having chinese without fried rice, even though I love making rice it is never the same . The same can be said for Omelettes, a nice chicken omelette with fried rice, followed by beef in black bean sauce.....yum!! If I have soup it would be short soup or scrambled egg soup, love sweet roast pork as an entree, but find myself so often asking for dim sims, just because they are usually better when home made.
