Have you had your articles redirected?

Recently, some things happened with my Triond articles. I suddenly had a huge jump in traffic for one of my articles. I was curious as to its source. I wrote to Triond but they refused to reveal the information to me. (Wonder why? As it will definitely benefit both writers and Triond in terms of earnings in future). Subsequently, they redirected my article, together with a few related articles to another site, resulting in a significant loss of page views. I wonder if anyone has experienced the same situation? Have your articles been redirected which resulted in a loss of pageviews?

I haven't experienced that. I have three articles there all of which are poems and they are not really having pageviews so I stopped posting my poems there. I virtually earned nothing from it yet. I am thinking of writing some articles in another genre. Congratulations! Maybe you can PM me the link of your articles which have been redirected so I can give them pageviews. Have a nice day!

Thank you so much. I have sent you a PM with my Triond profile page. Add me as a friend there so we could check each other's writing out. The important thing if you want to earn from Triond is to write frequently so that there's always something new for your friends to check out. Apparently, articles perform better than poems. I'm not sure. I have not written a poem before.

I received notice from Triond that they were redirecting one of my articles. I was excited thinking that meant another site picked it up. What actually happened was that Triond opened another sub-site. I can't remember which article it was so I don't know the site but as you know there is Author Spot, as well as Pics... I can't remember the name of all the sub-sites but the articles are categorized and put on the sub-site that relates to the article. My article was re-directed when they opened another sub-site and my article fell into that category. Sorry I can't remember what name or category, but that is what I found happened. I don't see why you gained more page views and then lost them. You have to keep promoting your articles. I have a list of my Triond articles in my email signature. I also report to everyone when I get something new published, even on mylot. I start a discussion about the topic and then post the link. I make sure there is a discussion here on myLot and not me just promoting my story. Good luck with your writing.

I see you sent someone a link to your Triond account so they can add you as a friend. I would like to add you as a friend too. Either PM me or let me know your user name and I can look you up. Or, you can look me up. My user name is the same as here but I am publishing under Mary Patricia Bird.

Please forgive me, I'm on some new medication. I can't remember whether I searched for you on Triond. I remember going over there yesterday but I don't think I searched for you. If you haven't already added me as a friend I will look for you and do so. I was running out of ideas so I submitted some photos and they published them. The tulip turned out better than I thought. It's a winner! And I also have Triond on Facebook. The links are way down at the bottom of my profile page though.

Thank for adding me as a friend. My name is Sydney Hazelton at Triond too. We can check each other out! Yup, I'm still puzzled over the pageviews. Maybe paid2write's theory is right. Maybe someone else promoted their article and my article is linked. Anyway, I do promote my article at Facebook, Yahoo! Answers, some social bookmarking sites whenever possible. That usually happens when I have a dearth of ideas to write about..Haha... Other than that, I'd rather write.

No I have never experienced that. I don't get traffic with my articles at Triond, except those that I provide. No sudden increase and decrease of viewers= just constant.
