Would you spay you dog?

Hi, I've got a female dog. Friends around me tells me to spay her. They say dogs can have cancers too, and those that are not spayed will have higher chances of getting it. But then, I fear for my beloved dog. I fear that she will feel pain. I got a neighbour whose dog died after her operation. Her blood vessels were so obvious, all she did was lie around whole day, suffering from her pain. I don't want my dog to be like her. What do you think?

I think that you are ignoring the pain that all those unwanted dogs out there feel. Do you realize how many dogs and cats are euthanized each day in this country? Do you have any idea how much suffering has been caused by people who are too selfish or ignorant to spay or neuter their dogs and cats? I have seen the end results of not spaying/neutering.

I do know. But the my dog rarely has the chance to go out. She stays indoor most of the time. She had her 4th heat last June, and so far no male dogs showed any interest!

Hi, I have three female dogs and they are all spayed. Believe me, while they are under, they will not feel a thing. They will just sleep. I would never do anything to hurt my dogs! When they come home, for awhile they may feel a little groggy and sleep alot but they will be fine. Dogs heal must faster and easier than humans. When my vet spayed my dogs, they gave me some medication to give them to help ease any pain they might be in. For more information and if you still have doubts, go to: http://www.puppys-place.com/Spaying_your_dog.html I hope that will give you all the information you need. You can prevent many illnesses and diseases if you spay your dog. I really hope you decide to spay your furry friend. Have a great day, Char
