What were the reasons when you left your job? Compensation, politics in the collegues, Manangement issues, nature of job,Respect? As far as mine is concerned, The compensation compared to amount of work is too less. What about you?..

I left my last job because I was going back to college full-time and wouldn't be able to have a full-time job anymore. So that's why I quit, to get a better education while I'm still young and living at home and have all the benefits like scolar ship, etc. I do have a part-time job now but not at the same place because this is closer by and the other company couldn't provide me with a less hour contract.

Hi anantvyas2306! I have my own business to manage before but I have to close it down upon the advice and insistence of my husband and doctors. I married late and got sickly. I wanted to have children but my body is weak. I was advised to rest completely to be healthy and at the same time to be able to conceive. I guess, my health and to have children is much more important for me that is why I have given up my business. Take care and God Bless!

I worked in a factory for 25 years and as more production became outsourced (Thanks, NAFTA!) I could see the place wasn't going to be there much longer. And physically, it was taking a real toll on my body. I quit to be self-employed as a secondhand goods merchant, and now also a writer. I don't make nearly the income as I was before, but I like being my own boss. The factory shut down about nine months after I left, anyway!

there are several reasons why you quit you're job. one is practicallity - it's too far from your house. the total time you spend going to your work and back home is almost equal to the hours you spent at work. a good idea to find a new job, unless you are very well compensated. but no money can ever compare to time and health. another is you left because of the people around you - a very bad reason to quit, but most do. simply because how can you actually work if the people around you doesn't want to work with you. there is one solution though, wark hard and be their boss - a better choice than quitting. another reason maybe financial. you don't think the company you're working for is paying what you are worth or it's simply not enough. well that's life. if you're not getting that much at least get some experience first so that at least when you quit and find your next job you really know how much you're worth. some think that they are really good but if you will base it on experience there is really none to show. there is another job waiting. this is the best reason for you to leave your current work. just make sure it will be for the better. you don't like your job. that simple. but good enough reason to quit. but remember that once you leave you can't get back. and finding a new job is hard and finding a new job does not necessarily mean you will like it. so make sure that you have a plan because you may end up regretting it. and don't lose hope. who knows, maybe there is some job out there that you will really love. just make sure you have saved enough while doing job hunting. being fired will be the worst thing that could happen. you don't want to leave but you have to. love your work and appreciate it. it's not a game you can reset if you did screw it up. want to know the reason why i quit my previous job. i realize that i'm not going anywhere. i lost track of my goals. one good thing though is i found a new job and will be starting next month. hopefully this is something i will love. have a good day anantvyas:)
