Hey mylotters out there! Do you have the same experience as mine? One friend here expressed her problem about frequent automatic log-out that happened after the new mylot set-up. I have been using Mozilla Firefox so I was not really experiencing this annoyance but today when I log in using Internet Explorer, I experienced the frequent log-out annoyance after typing long comments, so I tried logging in again using Mozilla Firefox and I'm around three hours here already but no log out yet even with few long pauses I made.

Try updating dear, hope this will help you because as far as I'm concerned I'm very secured with Firefox. I really saw the difference this morning when I was using Internet Explorer and I could hardly finish a post because every time I submitted there is a log out problem. But now I have been logged in here using Firefox but a number of times I have to excuse myself to attend to my office works but no log off so far. Hope your problem could be solved soon and thanks for sharing!

i've read a lot of discussions here that they are encountering problems on their account, it's the auto-log out. maybe this is the reason why i didnt encounter this problem coz im using mozilla as my browser. but anywayz thanks for the info..

Yes, I work predominantly with Firefox and for some reason I get automatically logged out if I take a bit of time to write out my post, the first time it happened was when I was when I tried posting a comment, I did not notice the sign in key at the top left in blue so I tried a normal log in and lost my whole post. The next few times it happened I was able to use the sign in and my post was still there so I was able to post it, though a little better I was still frustrated. The worst was last night that for some reason my computer would always return to the first few words of my post removing the remainder of the post and the sign that says that you may not paste to prevent spam appeared every time time I tried to finish the post. I logged out and switched of my computer, this morning the auto logout continues. I don't know if the same is happening with IE, and I am on my old computer so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. When I can I will try my other computer and see if it makes a difference and IE.

Since I did this post, I don't seem to be having as many problems, maybe I am typing faster, or getting my thoughts more organized as I have not been logged out once since I did your post, maybe your my good luck charm. In one of the other posts someone said that it has a 3 min time delay? It could be that. Thank you.

Hi Salonga! We you log in Firefox after you type your password you did check the remember me box. This is why firefox auto login you if myLot log you out. I will just remind you to sign out in firefox when you're through with it so that nobody can access your account other than you. I haven't tried logging in IE yet so I can describe what happen but for sure you didn't enable the similar remember me thing.

The only reason there that you did not experience the auto log out is that you are very active in posting and refreshing Mylot site. You beat the timer every time.

I think Firefox is really better than Internet Explorer. I guess Internet Explorer is prone to viruses or other adwares that sites have. But Firefox have an excellent protection against it. I use Firefox everytime. Have a nice day!

Yes, I've also observed that and so I'm into Firefox always. Internet Explorer is getting so vulnerable to viruses so better stick to Firefox. I could always read "This Page Cannot Be Displayed" when I would use IE but that is not the same case with Firefox. So indeed I have compared that Firefox is much, much better. Have a nice day!

i tried firefox yestoday. But i didn't like the appearance and i was not familiar with the function. i wanted to keep both firefox and IE, but i had to arrange the favorite table respectively. i was so annoyed that i delete firefox. i don't mind low speed and virus, perhaps IE is not a bad choice for me.

I am also using Firefox in two computers. I am so irritated now with lots of problems arising with the new mylot layout. Some say that if you are left idle for some times, you will be automatically log-out. But this thing also happens to me, whichever browser I am using. KEEP SMILING = NEIL
