i keep standing 80% of the time i cook as i have to see how the dishes are coming up, but infact i can even sit 80% of the time as once i put my vessels on the gas table i can sit and supervise the activities, but iprefer standing more tiem to complete different chores simualtenopusly

I say that it does depend sometimes. Most of the time I prep and stand. I usually can't sit still as a rule anyway. Sometimes I even stand while I am eating. I guess I feel that there is also something else I can do. I know I should probably sit down and eat. My husband tells me to sit and relax because I am eating dinner or something. But yes, I'd say that I prefer standing while I am cooking just to be able to keep an eye on something that might start boiling soon.

it depends on what I'm preparing but generally I have to stand quite a bit and my legs are sore by the time I'm done...that's why I like to make stews and casseroles that I can throw together and let cook away so I can sit or do something else.

I have to stand up I have 2 little rug rats running around so I have to be aware of everything around me and guard the stove the whole time.
