Some people are good at budgeting and being thrifty and others spend it as fast as they get it. Most of the time I'm good with money, but have occasional spurts of spending it foolishly. Any tips to add to save money? My 1st tip is to plan your meals.

Planning the meals is really effective. I do that to budget the money and spend wisely. Well, I am an impulsive buyer at times and I hated that. That's why I tend to go out and stroll in malls without bringing much money and credit cards to control my spendings.

Yes flowerchild I am good with money.Knowing the difference between a "want" and "need" can help us to save money..I always think like this if I don't have to have it in order to survive,it is a "want" and doesn't fit comfortably into my budget then I quit thinking about it.I plan head, and shop wisely,I always compare prices and buy in bulk when I can,and I never go shopping empty stomach...It makes me buy all of those junk foods heheheEven though I find difficulties sometime because of the rising food and oil prices..Good luck and cheers..

I am not very good at budgeting but I consider myself thrifty although I do spend more than necessary sometimes. I simply bring enough money for my daily expenses in my pocket. That way, I wouldn't be able to spend more even if I wanted to.

I normally am good at minding my money but there are times when I spend money that I shouldn't spend. Now that I am 18 I still live at home but I am responsible for buying my own food and things with my child support and I also have a cell bill to pay so I have had to learn to manage my money better.

I am now good with my money. I don't spend frivilously as I used to because I have bills that I have to take care of. Back when I would just spend and spend, the next week I noticed that I didnt have any money to do anything. And that sucked. Now I just buy the things I need not want. I spend time comparing prices. Any loose change or dollars I have, I put them in the jar. There are many ways you can manage your money and have a little something for yourself after you have paid your bills.
