Why Kolkata is famous despite having so much Problem ?

I wish to ask all Kolkatans and General Viewer . Why kolkata is city of Contrast and contardiction . This is due to Place . The land which had given Birth to several Souls who are Famous and make famous to the rest of the World . Somes Comes with nothing but had build a Huge name and Fame . By only their deed. Like Ramkrishna, Vivekananda,Tailongo Swami ,Grish Ghosh ,Subhash Chandra Bose,Rabindranath Tagore,Sarat Chatterjee, Moni Bhowmik, Purnendu Chatterjee,Dr.Bidhan Chandra Roy, Satyajit Roy. But Slowly Bengali are loosing their these nice Track Records . As they are Facing lots of Problem from Family side, Monetary side, Enviornment and others. But I wish they will Gain again their Spirit and give Valuable Contribution.So what others are thinking about Kolkata if they Express their View all Over World . Say few words about Kolkata why you Love ? Will you spend your whole Life their ? Or wish to change the Place.
