Hi, I would cook per meal basis; that is, enough for one meal. I do not like having leftovers for the next meal; as you said, reheating may take away the freshness of the dish. However there are certain dishes that taste better, after reheating, like double-boiled soups (chinese cooking). I don't know why, but if I were to leave the soup overnight, and heat it up the next day, it seems to taste better.

I cook meals everyday. My family is not one who likes to eat alot of leftovers they will eat some things like stew or beef and noodles for a few days but I usually cook a fresh supper everynight.

i definitely cook on a daily basis over here. i too try to avoid heated food, but for me, rather than flavour, it's because it's not that healthy you could say. but if i do reheat, it's usually food that i cooked for lunch reheated for dinner. i don't keep it for lunch the next day as well. the food will definitely be going bad then.

I cook daily. I reheat left overs. Sometimes they taste better than the first time cooked. I am not sure if this is healthy though.
