I have a new yellow star but somethings missing

hi opal 26 thats probably just a fluke as you have done nothing wrong but they do have glitches every once in 'awhile here in mylot. well come to think of it you cannot rate your own comments so thats why you dee no plus and minus there.other people can rate us but we cannot rate ourselves.Does that make sense?

No, you're fine! We can't see the buttons next to our own posts because we aren't allowed to rate ourselves. Everybody else can see the buttons next to your posts and I'm sure you are getting many positives! Good Job getting the yellow 8!

Hi Opal sinece the latest update to go to them I have to move the slide bar along so I can see what is on the right hand side, if this is the reason great just do that but if not I really don't know waht to suggest this does seem very unusal if you haven't got them. Ellie :D

I was on my way here Opal to tell you what I see others have already done; when I had to wait because a caped crusader had tripped on his cape and was making a right mess of sorting himself out. I was going to help him but he wanted to do it his own way. Anyway, I smelled smoke coming from somewhere in South America and by the time I got down there and discovered that it was smoke but no fire and got back again, on the last bus of the day mind. He'd gone. But I see he got in a few minutes ago. So I'll say "Hello" too.

Another user can see the ratings system next to your posts but you cannot see it yourself. This is the way it should be as we should not be able to rate ourselves. You're doing everything just right and this should be the way it is.. Happy myLotting!

Can you see them when you read other people's discussions? If not, then ask mylot.com! You will not see them on discussions you start yourself...that is only for others to rate your discussions. You should be able to see them on all other discussions though. Hope this helps and have a wonderful day!

Hello Opal26. Today is my second day with mylot and I was wondering if you could explain the stars to me. I saw you mention yours was yellow with an 8, now red with a 9 so I am pretty sure you will be able to explain it to me. Thank you for taking the time. I am sure it can be a pain going over the basics with the newbe. Please know I do greatly appreciate any informatin you can give me on this subject. Sorry I can't help you with your own problem but like I said I am green to this site.
