Did you know that if you drink two cups of tea a day, i would cut your risk of getting Dementia in halve. A number of studies have already linked black tea and green tea to health benefits ranging from preventing heart disease and reducing the risk of some cancer. Researchers found that those who drinking the most tea were least likely to have suffered cognitive decline, an a early sign of dementia. So drinking 2 a 3 cups of tea a day cut the risk of illness by around 55% while heavy tea drinkers, those who drink 6 a 10 cups a day it will be 63%. Now you know this would you start to drink tea or if you already drink tea, drink more?

I just drank 2 cups of green tea in the Japanese restaurant during dinner. I love green tea and I'm happy to hear that drinking green tea helps to reduce the risk of dementia. I shall tell my parents and grandma to drink more.

Hello,Jody!I have been drinking tea for the last sixty years.Of course previously i was drinking tea with milk but now i am not adding milk to tea.black or green tea is high in antioxidants, not only helps improve general health but also cuts risks of chronic diseases.moderate tea drinking reduces risks of heart attack.research studies have also revealed that drinking green tea helps protect against lungs and stomach cancer.thanx.

I had heard that, but no I wouldn't drink more tea. I think there are other chemicals such as tannins in tea that wouldn't be good for you at the rate of 6 to 10 cups per day. It might stave off dementia, but that much tea could cause other problems. I read an article just yesterday in Quick & Simple that if you used lemon juice in your tea it helped safeguard the healthful ingredients in the tea so they don't get destroyed by the digestive process. That sounds like a better solution than drinking MORE tea.

Great tip! I didn't know this. I think that now that I do, I would be more inclined to have tea daily but I do not know that I could drink up to 3 cups a day. I use o be a big tea drinker but now I don't care for it as much as I use to.
