As the first Hurricane approaches the mainland what should you have done to prepare for it? The most overlooked items are a record of you bank accounts, medical prescriptions, and insurance information. There are several things you can do to protect yourself. One suggestion is to make a list of all your medical prescriptions and email it to yourself and another person. Many people have put the important information including financial information on a CD and sent it to someone in a different part of the country. Now you even have a new option and that is the flash drive in either a media card, or flash drive. These drives tend to be more durable, larger and longer lasting. The important thing is to plan now before a disaster strikes. Using a larger flash drive you can also include photos of your home and contents.
