Apples are one of the most perfect fruits. They have nutrition to help many areas. They protect your heart. They prevents constipation. They block diarrhea. They improve lung capacity. They cushion joints. And they keep the Doctor away! lol xoxoxoxoxo

Kinda makes a peron wonder why they were foridden in the Garden of Edan. LOL I also read somewhere that likce celery, apples have less calories per fruit than the energy it takes to eat them, so eat a couple of apples and you'e not only illed yoursel up, you've also burned a few calories.

I like bananas. They help with leg cramps. It has something to do with the potassium. Plus I can cover them with chocolate. I can put bananas on my cereal too.

I have read that eating three apples a day will help you lose weight. I cannot quite do that, though. I get tired of them after awhile. I think it is the "I have to" factor. I did know about a lot of those things, though. It is the pectin in them that blocks the diarrhea, and also can make you feel full.

Hi Raydene! I love apples, not only because they are so nutritionally good for us, but because of the taste - I like the crispy ones with a zing in them. Pink Lady are my favourites, and I have one every single day.

Hi raydene! I do agree with that but apples are not really grown in our country. However, we have a lot of imported apples that are in the market nationwide. I just have to be careful on buying them since our government has advised us that some imported apples are being wiped with formalin so that the skin of the apples will retain their freshness. And that could affect our health over time. Take care and God Bless!

Hi Raydene, Oh I know the saying well, 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away' and in our household we all eat plenty of fruit and do have an apple a day, even the guinea pig gets the core bless. Ellie :D

See, I know apples are a wonder fruit but I don't really like eating them. Whenever I eat apples, they make me hungry! It's strange how that happens. However, I tend to like them better if they have the skin off, which probably halves the nutritional value alone. If apples are in fruit salad or yoghurt, I like them, but eating them whole doesn't really appeal to me. Even though I don't like them that much, I still will eat the occassional apple for its health benefits.
