it is my nephew's third birthday and we bought a chocolate cake...a round one with rich dark chocolate icing, and thick butter cream filling. it is a tall cake. anyway, i did the slicing, which has been my task around here, and afterwards, i did mine. i intentionally cute a thin slice. but since my slicing was not symmetrical, my slice sort of extended to the middle portion. so i realized when i put it on my plate that it is quite a hefty slice....but i thought it was okay. i even got the icing and filling that stuck on the knife. so i continued eating. oh my, it took me about 30 minutes to finish the entire slice! and i am like ugggh...but i didn't want to tell anyone that i took too big a slice because i even argued with my brother in law that it was a small slice. hehehe so i had to finish it. and now...urgggh...i would like to swear off chocolate cake, but i don't want to either as i might eat my words someday and might get an indigestion. hehehe now i am drinking tea...aarrggg/../ I HAD TOO MUCH CAKE!!!

Oh my that would be very dangerous around me. I have clean plate syndrome. If it's there on my plate I have to finish it even if it's too much.

Hello! Your description let me went eeww... I've been in that situation too. I thought the bigger the slice of the chocolate cake the more I'll enjoy it. Turns out otherwise. Or maybe I just ate too fast. I should have ate slowly and savored each bite... next time. I've learned my lesson.

Sounds delicious! I wouldn't mind a slice of that myself! I hate that too-much-cake feeling, too. My birthday was a couple of weeks ago, and I had the cake alone in the house with me for a couple of days. I had cake for breakfast and dessert, and I hope I don't see another for a couple of months, at least!
