if both of them are in trouble and they come to you for help.and you are only able to help one.who would you choose to help.and why?

I would help the one that needs the help the most. I would not pick someone based on who they are, but how I can help them.

how can one know who is in more trouble,will you ask them?, what if both are in need of same help. who would you choose.
