"During a CBS interview on Tuesday, John McCain made a stone cold error on a subject about which he claims expert knowledge: the "surge" strategy in Iraq. In an interview with anchor Katie Couric, the Arizona Republican said, inaccurately, that the surge strategy was responsible for the much-touted "Anbar Awakening," in which Sunni sheiks turned against Al Qaeda, helping in turn to reduce violence in the country.
Yet McCain's error was not seen by any CBS Evening News viewers. As MSNBC's Keith Olbermann noted, "CBS curiously, to say the least, left it on the edit room floor. It aired Katie Couric's question, but in response, it aired part of McCain's answer to the other question instead." (Ironically, this edit came on the same day that McCain's campaign released a video mocking the media's "love affair" with Obama.)"
This is from an email I received from moveon.org. If there is a liberal media in the US, why do they keep covering up for John McCain?

I use the Internet for my information gathering so I say that I get a unbiased and level view of the news. Much of my news doesn't come from this country.

McCain has more teleprompter problems than an elephant has with mice. It makes him look like he's not all there upstairs. It really isn't fair when you think about it, as it is a very biased means of viewing the man.

That doesn't mean I am a McCain supporter by any means when I defend McCain's teleprompter issues, but I do sympathize with him over it. Every fumble he makes gives Obama, who has a teleprompter and media savvy not seen since Kennedy, an edge. Both flip flop like pancakes.

I don't ubderstand much about the U.S. politics but with your saying there lots hide and seek going on and mud slinging are people happy with Obama? I haven't a clue what it all about.

Well we only have a liberal media when it works well for the Republicans. There's an old saying....Do as I say not as I do, that seems to be the Republican way and will go out of their way to point the finger when things that they create go wrong. The problem is they point the finger outwards instead of toward themselves. I can't wait until this election is over!
