They always say that parents knows best. Do you agree? Do you pretend to agree with your parents even when you disagree? Do you tell them frankly that you disagree and reason why, although doing so would upset them? How about you mom and dad? How would you deal with it?

I let them know how I feel but I also know that they have more experience than I do and take their opinions seriously. I'm 54 and still don't know it all, mom is 83 and dad is 86, my stepmom is 79 and they ALL know a lot more than I do and have been through everything I have. So I'm honest with them but they know I take their words seriously.

I am very open to my parents and so do they as well. We talk about things and decide whether such things are to be done or not. When I disagree with what they say, I tell them. Sometimes, I let my mom tell my dad how I feel.

Sometimes, I don't agree with my parents especially with my mom.. I know that our parents wants the best for us but sometimes to much can hurt us.. They think they really know us but they don't... They were pretending that they know everything about us but deep inside there are some questions that might have no answer... I sometimes hate when my parents decides for me because sometimes I don't like the things that they want for me..But since I don't want then to be upset I'll just do what they want even though I really don't like it..
