I think we have enough to deal with, without people making crap up and circulating it around. There are very real issues that are very, very important and let's face it, a salute or a patriotic gesture just isn't important in the big picture right now. Most of us know what he is and what he's working toward by now and I don't think we should have to concentrate on relatively insignificant stuff... |

I'm still working on forgiveness, I'm not that good of a person that I can do that easily. But I try to learn from bad experiences and look at them in a positive rather than a negative way. I have forgiven people after awhile, but I'm still working on some issues. I believe that if we don't forgive we bind ourselves with invisible chains while forgiveness sets our spirits free and brightens our... |

That's a wonderful invention but would probably scare a cat half to death if they saw it operate! That, or they'd treat it like a toy![em]lol[/em]I don't like the price, either. But it's a great concept. If I could have a cat, I would probably get that. It'd keep the house healthy and smelling nice! |

You left out how you saved a lot of cats and made their lives comfortable and safe.
If you are bored, do something unusual that you normally would not do. Eat something adventurous for dinner, take a different way to work, go for a walk in the woods all by yourself, volunteer to deliver a meals on wheels once a week. Do something out of the ordinary. |

I think they're realizing that the sheeple have awakened and they feel as if they have to listen or their political careers are over. Well, guess what? They're over anyway! That is, if people actually listen and vote out all the incumbents as well they should. Politics should NOT be a career.
I agree that Geithner should step down and never should have been hired, what happened to conflict o... |

Did you ever see it, with Charlton Heston? They were overpopulated and the people had very unique food to eat.[em]wink[/em] |
 | dragon54u responded to a discussion called Do you listen to music before going to sleep? in listening to music. 9 hours ago
I can't sleep that way, I get way too interested in the music! I find myself listening to solos, unique fills and familiar riffs. Then I have to think which song I've heard before that used that riff, then I'm wide awake!I have a white noise machine I got at Walmart a couple years ago for $10. They probably have them back in the stores for the Christmas season by now. You have a choice of a... |
 | dragon54u commented in a discussion called Have you heard about the proposed 28th Amendment? in politics. 11 hours ago
I'm sure it would, I just re-read it. How many of our representatives read the Constitution, though? It's very obvious to me that they either have never read it or they are purposely ignoring it because they don't seem to know the proper role of government. |

As I've said elsewhere, I think this is a trial balloon to see how they should best manage rationing. They now see that they'll have to be a bit more subtle about it. I can't believe they are trying to discourage preventative measures! Any sane person would much rather change the oil in their car than have to buy a new engine when the old one seizes because of lack of lubrication. If this were ... |
