Family Time

With it being summertime in the United States, are you spending more time with family? Have you bee doing anything fun and/or special? We have gone camping and have had a lot of BBQ. We have not done all I hoped for and school is starting in less than a month. Now I have to try to cram an awful lot into a small amount of time. Is money affecting this too? I know I am having trouble with paying bills, getting school stuff, doctor and hair appts (I have a teen aged daughter). This doesn't leave much recreation money.

i stay away from my family and thus its just that when i go home i meet them. so for me its really difficult to get time for my family. apart from thst with a lot of bill payments coming every month its really difficult to manage your finances these days. lets hope to catch up everything in life on time

I have just been spending alot of time in my pool as it costs me nothing well a little for electric to keep the pump going and chemicals but cheap compared to anything else. Money is just too tight this summer to do much of anything.

Nothing special on the go here. Everyone in my family lives in a different city somewhere, and I divide my time beween Ontario and Arizona. I am unemployed, so every day is like summer. LOL

I finally have a car this year, which I haven't had my own car in about 5 years. I really expected to be doing a lot more but most of the time I just don't have the gas money. I wanted to take the kids to the beach, or I have a Zoo Membership so I can get in for free. The weather has been a bit nasty as well. We've gotten a lot of rain.

This summer,my mother helped my husband and I upholster our new house,so she is very back-busting.I love her and enjoy the time I spent with her,also with my family.
