I have heard both sides and want to know if you have chosen to vacinate your kids or not and why?? I have chose to do it and everything seems to be ok, he does get a sore leg after he has the shot , but that is normal. He tenses up when they give him the shot.

My kids all have their shots. It's kinda expensive though but I won't take the risk of having none. Tell me what maybe the reason some parents chose not to?

Vaccines are free for all children in every state. If your doctor is billing you for the vaccines, you can get the same vaccines at any Health/Welfare Office for no price.

Not here in my country, some vaccines are free (it is actually not free because you have to buy your own needle for that) but most of them you have to pay, and most are really expensive.

I have had both my children vaccinated. I can't tell a mother NOT to vaccine their children, but I will tell them to do research and to remember that they do have rights and they can choose what goes into their childs body. As of right now me and my husband have talked if we should have our kids vaccinated on their next appointment or not, but still havn't decided what we should do. I think it's a really hard choice and confusing to parents since half the time CDC feeds us lies about what is being put into our children... and nobody can answer questions truthfully about the link on Autism and vaccines... So yeah.... think long and hard and do plenty of research...

Here where i live you have to vaccinate or the kids can't go to school. I have read alot on the pros and cons and i think there are more pros for it. Eventhough the first vaccine my son had he broke out into hives. Was very scary for me because he was only 2 months old. I got no sleep that whole night and took him to the emergency. They gave him an oral steroid and the hives went away. I did give him a dose of tempra before the shot so that could have made him break out also. But I would recomment vaccines to anyone as they do help to prevent some pretty serious diseases.

Yes both my girls have had all their vaccines up to date so far and will continue to do so. My eldest was very poorly after her MMR but nothing too serious and I think the benefits of the jabs outweigh a slight temp a sore swollen leg as all that was easily controlled with calpol.

I think all children should be vaccinated... you never know what is going around out there and especially once they are in school, there are so many germs and diseases, you don't know what your child could get. My son is 4 months and he gets his shots again at 6 months... so that will be his third set of shots... he got them at 2 months, 4 months and then again at 6 he's going to get them... I got all mine right up until high school... I think they are great to have. Especially the Hepatitis shots and the meningitis and all that. These things are very serious and your children can die from some of these diseases. Could you imagine having to bury your own child? I couldn't! And that is why I vaccinate my son even though he gets sick for two weeks afterwards with a fever.
