The reviews coming out seem pretty bad. New "X-Files" movie not challenging David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson still have chemistry, but no place for it Creator-writer Chris Carter didn't create much more than overlong episode. This is just a snip from a review I read. With a review like that I may wait for dvd. Or maybe not at all. What about you?

Well, I'm trying to avoid needless expenses. I would like to see another X-Files movies, but perhaps, like you, I'll delay. It is much cheaper for me to buy the DVD than to go to the theater and see the movie.

I have not watched the X-file episodes since Sully gave up her son because aliens or whatever they are might influence him. I am looking for that X-File movie, but will wait until it comes up on the movie channel. I might get the DVd, but since well, you read it above, unless Scully and Mulder get their son back. Then I will get the DVd. I never believe the reviews anyway. I have seen films that had good reviews and the movie stank, and I have seen films where the reviews stank and the movie was wonderful.

Personally i think it's been far too long since the x-files serise ended for them to now have a film. It should have been done year ago, or maybe a new serise brought out to go with it. Years ago i would have shed out to see it but somehow the x-files seems dated now, something i watched as a kid and now i'm an adult. I doubt i will see it at the cinema, probably wait for it to come out on dvd or maybe even tv!

I will probably wait for the DVD. I really want to see it, but I think it will work nicely on the smaller screen. The only time I go to the theater is when I think the movie I want to see will be that much better on the big screen. "The Mummy" might be one I'd want to see in the theater.

Yep. I am a geek and I've always been one, lol. Although, I am not a die hard fan like my aunt is. She knows everything and anything about the show, lol. I started watching the show with her when I was seven, I think. And that was back in 1993. And I've yet to see the first movie, sad I know. I guess I would need to catch up and then see the movie. I heard the first was good, so I'm not really expecting to be disappointed. However, movies these days it's hard to tell what's good or just awful by the commercials.

Well, I loved the shows pretty good so the movie being a over long one wouldn't hurt in my opinion. If I had the funds to watch it I would and help support a show made into a movie.

I want to see it, but for most movies nowadays I wait for it to come out of DVD or on th premium channels of DirecTV. I loved the X-Files, and I wonder what its going to be about. Critics always have something bad to say about a film when it comes out, and if you noticed any movie that is derived from a television show ends up being a long episode on screen. How else could it be? But, as with most movies, I will wait for it to be on the premium channels or DVD. Maybe I will get lucky and see it on Pay-Per-View once it gets an all day ticket.
