with changing times, men and women are now equally busy. so after coming back from work, do you lend a hand in cooking to your spouse? if yes, then how often?

My husband and I both work seven days a week. Sometimes we work alot of hours during those days also. We always have things to do when we are done working. We work nights. We work around the inside of my home or out in my yard, getting things done. We also cook together on most occasions and we also help to pick or clean up messes.

Well, I'm the last one home and the one everyone waits on to cook dinner. Hubby can get home, play the WII and then ask what is for dinner. He will cook maybe once every 2 weeks, but the mess is no fun.

Every time after work, my husband will help me do the cooking although he doesn't know how to cook, he is a good assistant. Day by day, I start to teach him to cook. And now, he can cook some. Congratulations!

My husband and I share the household chores 50/50. I am so lucky. We both work full time and have children. If I do the dishes he does the laundry. If I'm vacumming he is sweeping. It works out great. I was in a relationship prior to being married. My boyfriend expected me to do everything. Even get up in the wee hours of the morning and pack his lunch for the next day. When I tried to pack it at night he would complain that his sandwhiches we soggy. Thank god I got out of that relationship. My husband and I never have an argument over who does what. He is very self sufficent. I am so thankfull!!!! I do have to admit somedays may even be 70/30 him. But don't tell him I said so( ha, ha)

My husband does all of the cooking, because he loves to cook. I can't even boil waer without starting something on fire. I hae cooking, but I love to eat. This arrangement works well for both of us.
