Where have you not traveled to yet that you want to go?

United States

I have not yet traveled outside of the United States. There are so many other countries I would like to visit and hopefully someday I can begin to travel to them and explore! Number 1 on my list is France, followed closly by The Netherlands (my mom was born there), Latvia (my Dad was born there), Australia, Greece, Italy, United Kingdom, and Ireland. Quite a few places huh? I don't know if I will ever make it to all of them but I would definitely like to visit a few before I pass on.

All my life, I've always wanted to go to East of Southern Africa. It's just too expensive for me. Not only is the plane fair sky high, you gotta get a health certificate and take a lot of shots. Also, you gotta take a lot of precautions once you get there against diseases that don't exist in the United States. There are also political difficulties and dangers, too. I thought about going to Africa with my church to do missionary work, but I wasn't suited to the tasks they were planning on doing there, so I couldn't go. Also, I still would have had to pay a lot of my own money out of my pocket, though it would have been cheaper and safer going with them because they provide food and shelter. And, I think it would have given me a unique experience. Now, my health isn't that good, so I don't think an arduous trip to that continent would be a good idea for me right now.

I'm sorry to hear your health isn't as good as it should be to make a trip like that. I think going to Africa would be a truly eye opening experience, especially having lived pretty well off in the United States for my whole life. I wasn't aware you had to get a health certificate to go but it makes sense with the numerous diseases that they have there that we do not have here in the U.S.

Yeah, I think that's what it's called. Everyone I know who has gone had to get tons of shots before they would be allowed to go. I know a lot of ex-patriots from various countries over there, though, so I do get some of the feel for what things are like there. I will go, that's for sure, when there is a will, there is a way. I just have to wait until God thinks it's OK for me to go.

I would love to go to South America to visit Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. In particular I would love to walk the Inca Trail and cruise around the Galapagos Islands watching wildlife. It would be great if I could return to Central America to see Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. I would really like to go to Canada to see Prince Edward Island and Vancouver. I would be delighted if I could go to South Africa to see Cape Town. I would love to go to Mauritius and Madagascar. I would be wonderful to go island hopping and snorkeling in the Philippines and Thailand. I would like to see some amazing sites like the Taj Mahal and the Great Wall of China. It would be amazing if I would go to Japan, in particular Kyoto. I know that most of the countries that you wish to go to are in Europe. So you might like to get a cheap flight to London, Rome or Athens then travel around Europe on a rail pass. Like you might fly to London and travel by train to Dublin, Paris, Amsterdam, Venice, Florence, Rome and Athens. You could get a cheap flight from the United Kingdom to Riga in Latvia. This summer I went to Latvia and popped over to Lithuania and Estonia as well. Australia would be another journey that you will hopefully do one day. Good luck.

I never travelled to other coutry, I always dreamed of going to Europe, and I want to visit the Cambrige university. And still I want to visit my hometown, I left my hometown for almost 20 years, that time I was a small child, I still can remember the house of my home, that time I thought it was very big, because of some reason, I haven't seen it anymore so long a time.I had beautiful memory there, sometimes I just don't want to disturb my beautiful memory, because when a person getting old, they look things differently So why not always keep such a beautiful memory inside...

A tower in Italy. It looks really captivating. - I have always wanted to visit Italy. And this is one of the things I would like to see some day. I hope someday I make it over there. It would be a dream come true.
I have been outside of the United States due to being in the service. I was young and foolish so I only saw one place and that was Turkey. If I had thought about it which I didn't I could have flown from Turkey to other parts over there and it wouldn't have cost me anything. I could have taken a military hop and a person can go where they want as long as there is space available. Anyway there is a couple of places that I would really like to see. The one is Italy because my Dad was born and raised there until he was about six or seven years old. I would like to see some of my Dad's family and visit with them. I also would like to see a couple of the sights that Italy is famous for. But if I ever get over there who knows. But I sure am hoping. Than there is one other place that I have always wanted to see and that is Ireland. I have seen some absolutely beautiful pictures of it. And also my Mom has Irish in her. There are no relatives over there I just think it would be awesome to see the place.

I would love to return to Austria. I was only there briefly and just saw a tiny bit of Salzburg. Would like to return to visit the rest of the country. It is so beautiful there. There are other places in Europe that I would like to go to like the Czech republic, Berlin, and others. I live in the western part of the United States and would love to travel to the eastern part and visit states like Vermont, Boston, Mass., New york and more. Really interested in visiting Philadelphia for historical reason. I have been to California, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Mexico, Wyoming, Florida and South Dakota. Would really like to go to each of the states. Really interested in Washington state and Alaska as well.

Big Ben, London, England - photo of Fireworks above Big Ben, London, England
Hi my friend, I've never traveled outside the United States either. I've always wanted to go to London, England. My grandparents on my father's side were born there and lived there many years before moving to the US before my father was born. I remember how they used to talk about their home land and how different it was than the US. I probably won't ever make it there, but I can dream. Happy MyLotting, Char

Hi, I've been to US, and stayed in Anaheim for a week. We went to San Diego, Tijuana, but didn't have the time to visit Vegas. I'd very much like to go to San Francisco as well. I've been to Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and China. I would like to visit Thailand again (wonderful place) and China, where I have yet to visit Beijing, to see the Great Wall and the Forbidden City. Other than that, I'd wish to travel to Greece and Italy, and see the ruins of ancient cities!

I have always wanted to go to the US when I was younger. I had a glimpse of it in the US Naval Base in my own country before, and that left me a good impression of the United States. I would also love to go to Holland, and yes, the Netherlands and Greece. I guess those countries are just like a wonderful dream to me.

I haven't ever been out of the Midwest. I would really like to see mountains and the ocean. I would like to go to Egypt and see the pyramids and the Cairo Museum there, Hawaii, and I think climbing a mountain would be a blast. Being able to go anywhere different would be a great experience.

I like travel, but I do no have so much money and the spare time. But I still want to go a place that I have dreamt so many times--Singapore. I do not know why I want to go there, just having a strong thinking that I should go there once.Maybe that's my dreamtown and will meet someone who is important to me during the whole life. I know this is a dream to me, maybe I do not have a chance to stand on that beautiful place during my whole life.

I have always wanted to go to Italy. When I watch movies it always seems to beautiful there, plus it is where my Grandparents were from. When I go there I will likely just take a tour of Europe. I hope to go there in the next 10 years. Have a great day!

Hi crunky. I am a pretty simple person; my dream has always been to go to southern California. I certainly wouldn't want to be there when they have an earthquake (LOL), but I still would like to go there. This has been a wish of mine for about 45 years (and, yes I am OLD), but I doubt I will ever make it. Now that you've got me thinking about it, I would like to go to Australia, Ireland (the countryside, not the cities), Greece, and maybe Italy. I think it would be kind of neat to see Venice where the streets are water, and you travel around the city in boats. The only other travel dream I have always had is to take a cruise. I really don't care where to, just a cruise would make me happy. Although, my ultimate cruise would be to Alaska.
